Improved Oil Recovery Field Pilots in Wyoming Oil Fields

The Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for collaborative project work with operators of Wyoming fields.

Through this RFP, EORI will provide financial and technical support for implementation of new, pilot-scale processes/technologies focused on improving oil recovery (IOR) in Cretaceous, Permian, Pennsylvanian and Mississippian sandstone reservoirs.

For purposes of this RFP, IOR refers to improving primary and secondary recovery, well stimulation, acidizing, conformance and sweep improvements, clay stabilization, etc.  Examples of specific IOR processes of interest to EORI include polymer augmented flooding to overcome adverse mobility ratios and high permeability variations in reservoir layers or chemical treatments to reduce the impact of reactive clays on well injectivity.

Proposals will be accepted from October 16, 2023 - December 15, 2023 with the final project selection on January 31, 2024.
