The Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI), University of Wyoming, in Casper, Wyoming is Sponsoring a Microbial Treatment Field Test Study to Address Paraffin Problems.
• Well selection is currently underway and will remain open until 15 qualifying wells are selected, or through October, 2021.
Operators are encouraged to submit wells for study consideration as soon as possible, as there is no out-of-pocket cost to the operator/s. Specific criteria and performance of outlined protocol, as well as a contract, are required. Detailed information on the study may be found here.
Interested parties may contact the EORI Project Manager directly with any questions or to submit a well for consideration. Wells must have documented paraffinic oil and clogging issues.
Study completion is anticipated at the end of 2021, and results will be analyzed and published by the Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute.
