Lon D. Whitman Joins EORI Team

The Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute is pleased to announce that Lon Whitman will be once again a full-time member of the EORI Team leading the Institute’s Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement.

“I look forward to building strong working relationships with Wyoming operators and top industry service companies which is key to EORI’s mission, project development and success”, says the Institute’s new Technical Outreach Manager.

Lon’s immediate impact has already been felt with the  development and launch of a series of EORI “Lunch and Learn” events and a “Distinguished Workshop Series” with leading industry professionals to offer cutting edge technologies and address important issues facing operators in our state.

Director Carpenter shared his delight with Lon’s decision to return to EORI. “We are very excited to have someone of Lon’s capability and exceptional client development skills. We are even more excited that he has a track record with us and our stakeholders.”

Lon is from Casper, and a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in Petroleum Engineering.  He will be working from EORI’s Casper office.  Mr. Whitman’s technical outreach efforts will include corporate outreach, project development, and relationship development. After developing the Institute’s successful Minnelusa Consortium during his previous tenure at EORI, Lon will advance the Institute’s technical outreach model of consortia by soliciting members, ideas and areas of focus for EORI.   You can also count on seeing Mr. Whitman as EORI’s representative at industry and trade association meetings.

We invite you to contact Lon with any thoughts and ideas you might have and join us in welcoming him back to the EORI Team.  His contact information can be found below:
