Jessica brings eight years of industry experience on the service company and operator side to EORI. She is a senior reservoir/petroleum engineer at the Institute. Jessica complements the Institute by having worked in multiple engineering and industry facets. She worked for WPX Energy as a Senior Completions Engineer in the Williston Basin, where Jessica was one of the lead engineers for a completion and spacing optimization program. She performed numerous fracture pressure history matches and was involved in every aspect of the multidisciplinary work. Jessica also was in charge of day to day operations for well prep, completions and workovers. As a Completion and Production Engineer at Schlumberger, she worked a variety of technical projects. Some of the work Jessica was involved in included the design, execution and evaluation of hydraulic fracturing treatments, rate transient analysis, production history matching and microseismic monitoring and evaluation. She worked in a variety of basins and formations including being the lead engineer for Schlumberger’s Niobrara work. Her thesis work at the Colorado School of Mines specialized in applying reservoir engineering techniques to evaluate compressed air energy storage combined with wind energy for the Moxa Arch field in southern Wyoming. Jessica’s varied knowledge base helps her relate to the unique problems facing Wyoming operators and assists her in finding appropriate solutions.
